I love to take pictures that document our farm life, probably because I did not grow up on a farm.  Size does count on a farm...the bigger the equipment the faster you can get the job done.  I am always amazed at how big the tractors are and all they can do.  You'll find highlights of them working in the fields, getting stuck, and getting fixed. 

Of all the things I photograph, I find it most difficult to take "the perfect picture" of a goat.  I don't think it can be done.  I'm never satisfied.  The little stink pots know when I am locked and loaded.   They can sense a camera pointed in their direction.  They stop doing whatever it was that I wanted a picture of and I know they are laughing at me inside their little goatie hearts.  I want to capture the love I have for them on film and it has become a major challenge.  Take a look at the herd page and maybe, just maybe, it isn't one picture that will accomplish my goal, but the collective set.
